Today was the first round of voting ad my good friend Scott Taylor was running for Congress Va 2nd District. The polls are now in and Im devestated that only 9% of active voters went out to vote today. I have to be honest that before this year I truley didn't know how much my vote meant. I have followed Scott through his entired campaign and it has been my pleasure to support him. He has a great heartand really wants to address the issues. Let us please take this as a lesson to not take for granted our rights to vote. use your rights! You can make a difference even when you think you can't.

I had a wonderful time at the Noblemen Charity Golf Tourney yesterday. The weather up until the end was great! We raised alot of money and it felt really great to see all of the men and women getting together for a great cause! Can't wait to do it again next year! Enjoy the pics from above!

Hey guys! Ben a while since I gave you an update on the poochie and he is doing great! He goes for his Therapy Dog certification on May 8th so wish him luck! I decided to have his groomer come over to give him a puppy cut; bless his heart he is so dark and had so much fur that he was panting while sitting in one spot. The pics below are his before and after. He is sooo much happier now we can just tell in his actions. After all its hair...it can always grow back!

Big shot out to Innovative Twist & Attrevete Ent for thorwing a great concert by Notch. He was a great choice of Artist to bring to VA. If you missed it YOU MISSED it!!! Notch is amazing! Not to mention he is really down to earth and personable. Thanks to Team MB for getting a "DA-Licious" cake for me lol. Eventhough I was sooooo sick this event was great I think everyone whom I love for being a part of it!

My SC El Congresito Trip

I just returned home from my trip to South Carolina. I had so much fun with my good friends Al "Liquid Silver" and the entire Congresito team. This was my first trip to SC and I want to send a big thanks to all the students and dancers that made me feel so welcome. I have really been in a pink mood lately not sure why... The guys are now referring to my pink pumps as the womens new Jordan :) They are pretty comfortable so I can see where they can be related lol not sure if Jordan is fond of pink tho :). I stepped out for a breather from working to attend the Jay-Z concert last night and boy Im glad I did. It was a true moment experiencing the Genius that is JayZ. We all know that he is an awesome lyricist but his entire show from the stage production to his presence was amazing! O, BTW side note his lovely wife was sitting right behind me. The energy in the room to have such a power couple so close...nothing like it. Thanks J for a great show!

Hey guys! I think this month has the most makeup action you guys have seen so far! Thanks to my nail artist CeCe you guys get a sneek peek of "Princess Kristanna's" glammed up nails. She is so talented and she did all the art on my nails free Hand. The show is still 5 days away but I have a very special photoshoot tomorrow am so all my appointments had to be moved up to fit everything in! It's going to be a busy week! The photoshoot is a suprise and I'll share the secret with you guys tomorrow! Stay Tuned!

Playing for Valentine's Day!

My good friend Shalimar had his very fun V-day rendition of Playdate. I try to catch it since the event happens only once per month. As usual it was a blast! The uno tables grew from 2 to 6!! Who knew the game would be that popular! I'm still the Quuen tho, haha. I did try my hand at connect four as you can see in the pictures. These are dedicated to my friend Jon...he is the Connect-four King!

What are you guys doing this weekend? I'll be heading down to the CW Healthfair after my aerobics class. I teach a salsa lesson on the main dance floor at 2:30 pm! I taught at the expo last year during my Miss Virginia Beach reign and it's nice to go back being Miss Virginia! I hope to see you all there!
A Lex Update

I haven't given you all an update about my pooch lately. Mamy of you have been able to meet him as he has become my right hand in my traveling. Lex is such an amazing dog. He has really come into a great place and you'd never know he once was trapted in an aweful puppymill! My heart really goes out to all the animals that have suffered in that way and still are. Lex just celebrated his 1yr bday. Nothing to crazy but we did get him specially prepared Connolli's made for doggies after all my family is half Italian :). The pictures above are some great sneek pics of Lex at Christmas, with his best bud MJ and also some bath time of course!

Today was fun and I got a chance to play with a lot of color. I shot with Lisa from Maya Photography for my Cirque Du soleil themed performance. Im super excited about it and can't wait to share more shots with you guys from the shoot. It was kind of cool to have the funky lime green and pink hair ( a color I haven't tried lol) Now Im back to my normal self as you see in the pic to the right.

My second stop today was meeting the new Govenor and our Mayor at Food Bank to make up bags for children for the weekend. Bob McDonnell is very down to earth and we sure stirred up a lot of energy at Food Bank headquearters today lol.

I just finished a crazy schedule of four days straight as a vendor at this years USA Dance NYE Event. This event has been happening for 19 years in our area. Daily workshops are held along with night parties with different genres of music every night. I was so happy to be at the event as one of its vendors. So much has happened in such a short period of time with my line so this was a real treat and I feel very blessed. Thanks to all the ladies who purchased my product and are loving it! You see one of the lovely performers above wearing our pure onyz LL's with her costume and flyffy slippers lol. No matter how you wear it thanks so much....truely a fabulous dream come true!

How did you guys spend your NYE? My good friend Shalimar recently organized an event here called Playdate. Playdate was created and has been taking other larger cities by storm! The setting a large ballroom typically in a convention center or hotel type setting. They then set up all your favorite games on each table since childhood i.e monopoly, uno, connect four etc. I am the UNO QUEEN! (if I do say so myself LOL) I won 3 out of the 4 games we played. I had a blast! and the really neat thing was I ran into a lot of my students there so I got to bring in the New Year with them. I enjoyed you guys! Now back to work!
