I am so blessed to do what I love to do on a daily basis. My love of dance has taken me across the U.S. and more whether it be to teach, perform, or just dance. In my journey I have met some amazing individuals. I have had the opportunity to teach them, mentor some, and develop new friendships. Many of them write in to me to tell me how dance and my instruction has affected their lives but what they don't always realize is the profound affect they have on my world as well. I am the head coach at Norfolk State University and during preseason I wanted
a change of pace for the girls, I felt that the movements would be helpful to
the girls for coordination and footwork. Marquita did an amazing job with the
girls in explaining the movements and breaking down the footwork and helping
them understand the basic concepts to salsa. My girls absolutely loved it and
want to do it again! I would not hesitate to call her and set up another
class. She is a great instructor who not only cares about making sure they
learn the correct steps but she also gets to know her students. If you want
