Doing fulfilling work is one of the most powerful ways to cultivate lasting happiness. When we engage in work that aligns with our values, passions, and purpose, it creates a sense of meaning and accomplishment that goes beyond just earning a paycheck. Fulfillment in work fosters a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us, reducing stress and enhancing our overall well-being. It gives us a reason to wake up excited each day, knowing we’re contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Simply put, fulfilling work isn’t just about what we do—it’s about who we become in the process.
One of the best conversations I have with my clients looking to be more fulfilled in their business is the creative ways their desires can bring success to their businesses. Setting up an ecosystem of “Desire departments” can bring awareness, allow you to serve and help your financial wellness at the same time.
I’ve included this chart that shows you how this looks in my business. Using the tips below I’ll walk you through how this looks in one area of my ever evolving career.

Tip 1: Define the main pillars of your business: My clients often look at their business as one dimensional. This is how most of us start our journey and honestly most often its driven by our capacity at the time because starting a business takes bravery, organization and tenacity.
Ex. Baila Fuzion started out as a dance studio and there would have been nothing wrong with keeping it that way. My desire was to create a facility that supported artists' journeys in various ways. This caused me to look at not only what a potential full journey of an artists looked like but also the adjust opportunities.
Tip 2: Zone out your perspective to see where dots connect: This is where your hobbies can show up and shine.
Ex. My first ever blog started with a focus of documenting my costumes as I traveled and taught Latin dance. Dance & Fashion showed themself to be adjust naturally. Blogging at that point was a hobby and dance allowed me to have my talent as a writer shine. If you are familiar with my work you’ll know this led to my career now covering fashion weeks featured around the world.
Tip 3: Connect the dots with expertise and energy you are already utilizing.
Ex. Studio F Showroom was birthed from our Fashion department curriculum. As a fashion closet not only does it allow our students to gain valuable knowledge in numerous areas of the fashion industry but it has the ability to supply much needed clothes to women in our area affected by Trauma, Trafficking and Domestic Violence.
This is an area that I find myself constantly helping clients identify and connect their desires. Allowing heart work to show up in your business in a big way will be a game changer for the life and legacy of your work.
