A Shorter do and a super exciting shoot!

I did a photoshoot today for my good friend Carla G's College of Cosmetology. My other GF Lisa of Maya Photography was even a model for it (such a gorgeous and super sweet). The shoot was fun and I was able to wear a pair of LegLovers too! Another one of the models Suzie had a very Hot Mo-Hawk done in rainbow brite colors!!! We stuck her in a pair of Sheer Divas from my LegLover line and she looked AMAZING! Everyone went wild for her look! I get so excited and feel so blessed in those moments. Thanks Susie for making the LL's looks so great!

Tonight I joined some friends out at Guads VB and went Chicago Style steppin with the VB Steppers. My goodfriend jon Green is a pioneer for this great dance in our area. Jon will be joining me on the dancefloor tomorrow night. (I'll be sure to snap some video for you). Tonight was a good night to go out and it was super cold so my leglovers came in handy lol. I have decided (for the moment) to go with a short cut. Im sure I will put my extensions back in next week lol. You guys know how I am...Go Big or Go Home!
A Dream coming True!

Sigh....We just wrapped up the Abigail Rose Charity fashion show and my designer LegLovers were featured in the show. This show was sooo amazing! It has been a dream come true to have my 1st piece of merchandise for my brand come out. A Big BIG thanks to everyone who came out to support me and bought the first pairs. Be sure to send in pics of you rockin your Leglovers. Thanks again guys!
Back from Richmond!
My good friend David Prado had his annual Richmond Salsa Christmas Party last night. The event was classy, sexy, and well attended. Va Beach showed out in numbers for many reasons but at long as they showed support thats all that matters lol. I wore a metallic halter with stretch pants and my new metallic silver LegLovers. The salsa paparazzi was out so I will post more pictures as they come in. Thank you to everyone in Richmond Showing me much love and making me feel at home. See you guys next month for workshops!
The day has come!

The dream has come true you guys! I finally have my designer legwarmers in a store and I can't tell you how excited I am. The LegLovers will be making their debut at this Saturday's Charity Fashion Show to benefit the YWCA. How amazing is that? I'll be launching them in my online store tomorrow so you'll be able to browse online :). Let me know what you think and I'll be posting up pictures from young ladies who are putting some awesome outfits together with them. Thanks for the Luv!

This has been such an awesome few months and I'm so excited to share with you guys that my new line of legwarmers called LegLovers by Marquita Bianca is finally going to be sold in store starting tomorrow! I can't explain how I feel right now. I'm so siked! I hope you all enjoy them! They are so super comfortable and chic! And best of all Abigail Rose is a very chic boutique minus the high boutique prices. Lex and I just shot some pictures for my new Fall 2009 cataloge. On some off time him and I snapped a pic and look he's giving me kisses! Love him!
Week rap-up!

Hey Guys! I've missed writing in my journal this week. My schedule has been so crazy that I haven't had time to write and now I have so much to tell you! This week starting wednesday has been what I call a work horse week. There has been work or something to attend every night since wednesday night! So here we go with the week rap up. Wednesday I went to my good friend DJ Mambo Souls new latin night spot El Patron. I just finished production on my legwarmer line "Leg Lovers by Marquita Bianca" so it was nice to put them to the test. The pair I wore are called "model chic" because the remind me of the classic model outfit which is jeans and a classic white tee and pumps of course! Look for these online and in stores very soon! I also got the chance this weekend to attend the Navy's Christmas Ball for Ocean/Dam Neck. This was a really great time because I was regreeted by many of the Command Master Chiefs, Commanding Officers, etc that I met when I spoke for their Hispanic heritage month. This was an honor because these great men and women serve our country proudly! They made me feel so welcome and I spent the first part of the night taken pictures but I wouldn't have it anyother way! Thanks Nas Oceana/Dam Neck I can't wait to come back and visit!
Aventura in concert!

This was my first time seeing Aventura in concert. The band came out rockin with their new song "Por un segundo" and the crowd went crazy. Romeo is Hott!...of course and has a beautiful voice live. The guys went through the main songs from their albums but also did a small medley of some crowd faves. After starting 40 minutes late it turned out to be a good show. I would recommend if you have the chance going to see them. Don't wait to long to get tickets tho....they are already sold out for their January show at Madison Square Gardens . Tickets for that show have been sold out for 2 months now and the show I attended was to a sold out audience as well!

On our recent trip to Dc while walking Lex in front of the White House we met another Pomeranian owner. The Pom you see in the picture is named Sasha but after spending a few minutes with her we nicknamed her Sasha Fierce! She was a beautiful blonde bombshell and Lex fell hard. These two at first sniff were chasing eachother and playing it was an amazing site to see. Im so happy to have a pooch with an amazing spirit. I take him everywhere and this is why. No matter if its dog or human you can't help but fall in love with him:). Thanks for visiting with us Sasha!
It's Black Friday!!!

Ok....I'm not much of a big black friday shopper. 3 reasons: 1) I hate lines 2) Can't get up that early 3) People's attitudes. But, I am very curious about people's thought process about it lol. Soooooo we decided to take a ride out to the Best Buy by our house and it was pouring down raining and what do I see? Well, you see the picture. Yes! It was people camping out in tents and standing in the rain 4 hours before the store even opens. I had to share that with you guys. Im sure it will be all over the news. If you are going to be an early shopper today please be safe. Enjoy your holiday!
Back home from DC....

My trip to DC was really great! I did a few different things while I was up there. I had a chance to spend time with my family so of course Lex was right there with me. We took him into DC and went to the White house and to visit some of the monuments. It was really cute when people were coming up to us asking to take pictures with Lex. I also saw an old friend Illiana and we went to Fur and had a great time! Then to top off the weekend there I went to see Aventura in concert. It was very interesting! For those of you who went you know exactly what I am talking about LOL.

Lex's first Puppy Pretty Parlor Appointment!

Thanks for all your emails and confidence in my poochie Lex. He is still doing great and now has a body full of beautiful pomeranian fur! Yesterday he had his first puppy cut and looks amazing! The pictures above are Lex before his cut and after with his Doggy-God Mother Selena. The pet spa called Fur Frenzy took many pics of Lex so I'll be sure to post them when they do! :)
Performing at the 2009 Miss 757 Model Search...

Jai Ho!!! My performance for this years Miss 757 went so well. There of course like any performance were technical glinches but as a finished product the performance felt really good. Thanks to everyone who came out to support me, Katrina & Quinise. BTW You girls rocked the PCD Jai Ho! There were an enormous amount of pictures taken and I will post them as they come in.

Tomorrow is my Bollywood performance at the Miss 757 Model Search so I prepared by getting my hair done first...of course! I'm excited ! This choreography was fun and different to work on; just the break I needed! I'll be sure to have pics and video for you as well as a full recap of the happening through the model search/after party.
My Puppy Update!

Time for a pooch update! I took this pic of Lex today, he is doing amazing! Look at all his fur. His tail is so long it lays on his back and almost touches his ears. Lex is almost 11 months old now and weighs almost 7 pounds. We are very proud of him. He is potty trained, knows how to sit, down command. Soon we will be training him to be a therapy dog. I'll be taking Lex on my Miss Virginia Tour that starts Jan 9th 2010.

Last night I attended the Preview-Opening of the store Abigail Rose in Ghent. The store is so chic and I have nicknamed it the "Boutique without Boutique prices!" It's really affordable! The store is located on 913B W 21st St. Go visit and let them know you heard about it on MB.com!

Yesterday was my good friend Julian's (aka Ju Ju as I call him) birthday. The crew and I spent the night out with him to make sure he had the proper bdau celebration. I think he had a good time. Happy Bday again JuJu!!

Hope you guys enjoyed your halloween night! Its was amazing....I mean 82 degree weather! You can't beat it. I was on Granby St and every place was over capacity. Almost felt like being in Miami for Halloween! Thanks to everyone who came out and had a ball. I hosted the Costume Contest at Guads and Edwards Scissor Hands took home our Grand Prize!
Costume wise I decided to go classic dark angel. This was an easy look. I loved all the stones and jewels so I decided to take the design not only on both eyes but down one arm. I think it turned out well :). What do you guys think?
Creativity Recap!

Tomorrow is Halloween and to be honest I still don't have a costume. Last year I was Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and had an awesome time. This year Im leaning towards something more creative then commercial. I think I may go the route of bodypaint. Wish me luck I'll take many pictures so you guys can see what I come up with. My previous face doodles as I call them are below. I'll research to get some motivation. :)

A few days ago I helped to celebrate my good friend Jhawn's birthday at Ibiza here in Norfolk. Jhawn has grown to be a good friend and motivator of mine. Remember to always keep those around you that force you to make yourself better! Happy Birthday Jhawn!

Chris Rock's younger brother journeyed to VA to bring the laughter to our Funny Bone comedy club. I'm a lil sad I didn't get to see his show due to my booking schedule but me and the crew got to hang out with him after his Saturday night show. His show was completely sold and after meeting him I could see why! lol
My Day at NAS Oceana
October 9th 2009
Hispanic Heritage month is one of my favorite times of the year. I spent the day at NAS Oceana giving salsa instruction to all the commands that attended. I was also the guest speaker for the Heritage Ceremony. After we ate lunch (provided by Guadalajara) they were nice enough to give me a tour of the base. Thank you to the Chiefs, Captain, Command Master Chief and staff that made me feel very welcome. I took lots of pictures for you guys!

Performing for our great U.S Navy

I had the complete honor of performing for the 2nd Command Fleet this week for their Hispanic Heritage presentation. My good friend Jon Green came along to spin me around for the fellow officers and chiefs. We had a great time and were able to enjoy all their festivities. I was able to get a few pictures snapped. You'll see Jon and I with Chief Jackson and this a pic I snapped after the Chief picked me up in the Admirals car. A very cool day. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to come to the celebration. This visit was just about performing but I promised the Fleet I would come back complete with Sash and crown to visit.
Miss 757 Pagent 2009

Had a great time this weekend with the Studio76 Family. They had their casting call for this years Miss 757. I was able to sit on the judging panel for this years casting to help chose the contestants. I can't wait to see the competition; we had a really good turn out for tryouts. Afterwards Drew, KD, and myself went to get food and hangout with the rest of the Studio76 family.

I have been behind the scenes doing a lot of choreography for many of my clients and their functions. While this has been a cool break for me it still keeps my schedule crazy busy. BUT! My next choreography I will actually be performing in as well. I can't give it all away but I can give you a hint! It's based on a Hollywood blockbuster and has been seen on numerous TV shows such as Ellen, Oprah, Tyra, and Wendy Williams.....How You Doin! I'll give you more hints as the time grows closer!

This weekend Lex and I attended the 28th Annual SPCA Dogwalk held in Stockley Gardens in Ghent. This was Lex's first official attendance to an SPCA event as an adopted dog. I think he had a really good time. They had games like bobbing for hot dogs and musical sit. Lex had the opportunity to paint his own portrait at the Paw-Casso station. All in all it was a great day. My mom came with us and brought her new baby MJ. Thanks to everyone who showed my new pooch some love. Check out Lex's pooch pic gallery
Miss Virginia & King Neptune!

While visiting at the neptune Festival; Lex and I ran into King Neptune. Really sweet guy! We snapped a quick pic for the press. He was a cool King!

I had the honor of attending this years Public Speaking Summit. I had the opportunity to meet the speakers, ask them questions, and present the grand prize. As someone who has to speak publicly for many occasions I was able to educate them about how important it is to arm yourself with your speech and to practice it so you are always ready!

A few friends and I headed up to DC this Monday for the 8yr Anniversary for the Clarendon Grill's Salsa Night. The dance floor was hot and it felt sooooo good to get down with some really good friends again. I danced so much that I didn't have time to take many pictures or video. Forgive me! But trust me it won't happen again. I'll be heading back up to the Clarendon Grill very soon! The picture above are my good friends David Prado of the Richmond Salsa Meetup and my fave DJ Renzo of DC (owner of The Scene Magazine). These guys are a big support and great dancers along with being really good friends! Thanks for making my night back on the floor like Fire!

While going through some of my previous photo shoots I stumbled upon this picture and I thought it was hilarious. During shoots we have many onlookers but this young lady definitely made her presence known! After this picture was taken the young lady did come up and ask what we were doing then her older brother remembered he saw me on BET's 106&Park. It's a small world and you never know who is watching!

Today my family and co-workers spent the day at Motorworld. We drove bumper cars, drag cars, and had a blast doing it! I have never been there so it was nice to do something new. And family time for me is priceless!!!
